MTN Group has 100,000 base stations on stream in Africa

MTN Group says it has deployed more than 100,000 base stations across Africa for the benefit of over 200 million customers, reports CAJ News. MTN has installed approximately 53,000 2G base stations, 37,000 3G ones and over 12,000 4G sites that service about 234.7 million subscribers in 22 markets. .
