MTN Nigeria, Diamond Bank launch joint mobile money service

MTN Nigeria and Diamond Bank have launched a mobile money product that they have jointly developed for the advancement of the Central Bank of Nigeria's (CBN's) cash-less initiative, the Guardian reported. The Diamond Y'ello Account is automatically opened by dialling star 710 hash. The bank is particularly targeting the youth and mass market segments of the MTN subscriber base, as well as unbanked and under-banked subscribers.
