MTN Nigeria drops plan to charge for USSD code for banking

MTN Nigeria said that it has suspended its plan to implement charges for the Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) code used for bank transactions, ThisDay reported. This follows a directive from Minister of Communications Isa Pantami to the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to halt implementation.
