MTN Nigeria faces probe from Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over share listing

MTN Nigeria announced it is being investigated by the country's Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over its share listing on the stock exchange. The mobile operator said that it had received a letter from the EFCC, requesting information and documentation on the listing. The mobile operator said it has not been accused of any wrongdoing and will co-operate with the authorities, who are yet to provide details of the investigation.
