MTN Nigeria, NUC partner on ICT education conference

The MTN Nigeria Foundation has partnered the National Universities Commission (NUC) on a conference to discuss the role of ICT in education as well as the latest innovations and achievements in technology-assisted learning in Nigeria's higher education sector. The conference kicked off 31 August in Abuja. The MTNF has awarded a total of 5,248 scholarships to students since 2009, bringing the total sum spent to NGN 1.05 billion as of December 2014. The scholarships are offered under the MTNF Science and Technology Scholarship Scheme and MTNF Scholarship Scheme for Blind
