MTN South Africa achieves Level 1 BBBEE status

MTN South Africa says it has achieved Level 1 B-BBEE (broad-based black economic empowerment) Contributor Status. It said it supports the government's commitment to ensure that South Africans can benefit from transformation of business, employment and skills development. The strategic intent was to reach this level within three years, but MTN reached its target in only two years thanks to the accelerated and concerted commitment of its entire team.
