MTN South Africa holds Black Friday sale until 09 December

MTN South Africa is holding a Black Friday sale from 20 November until 09 December for new and existing customers of prepaid, contract, enterprise and mobile money (MoMo) services. MTN PayAsYouGo customers can buy a Mi-Fi router bundled with 50 GB for a one-off price of ZAR 499 and those who already have such a router can get the 50 GB as a SIM-only deal for ZAR 199.

The 50 GB data bundle will be allocated as 26 GB in the first month, comprising 8 GB of Anytime Data, 8 GB of Night Express Data and a 10 GB YouTube bundle. There will then be 24 GB, in the form of 2 GB monthly over a twelve-month period.

The operator is offering postpaid customers 1 TB for ZAR 999 per month. MTN said it would offer specials on data packages bundled with Mi-Fi routers as 10 GB for ZAR 99 over 24 months; 50 GB for ZAR 199 over 24 months; and 100 GB for ZAR 299 over 24 months.

The mobile network will also offer Mega Plan and Sky Plan promotional deals as part of its Black Friday sale. The Mega Promo Plan offers customers both voice and data, with 25 GB plus 1,500 minutes at ZAR 599 per month for 24 months, or at ZAR 499 per month over 36 months. The Sky Promo Plan, which is exclusively available online, will offer customers 60 GB plus unlimited minutes, and is available for ZAR 799 per month for 24 months.
