MTN South Africa plans SD-WAN to support NB-IoT

MTN South Africa has invested over ZAR 40 billion in the past four years in its network, CAJ News reported. MTN also announced it was developing a software-defined Wide-Area Network (SD-WAN) and re-purposing thousands of sites across the country. The aim is to support narrowband internet of things (NB-IoT) capability as the roll-out of turnkey services for enterprise customers gathers pace.
