MTN Uganda launches FTTH in selected areas

MTN Uganda has reportedly gone ahead and launched fibre to the home (FTTH) services in selected areas of the country, Techjaja reported. MTN has already been offering fibre to certain businesses but has now expanded this to home clients, who have previously been served by the wireless residential internet service called MTN WakaNet. Included on the list of served areas are Kololo, Naguru, Ntinda, Entebbe, Nakasero Hill, Muyenga, Namuwongo, Kira, Kisaasi, Bweyogerere, Mukono, Jinja, Mbale, Arua and Lira.
