MTN Uganda mobile money services become available via Absa Bank PoS

MTN Uganda and Absa Bank Uganda have announced the introduction of mobile money payment functionality, known as MTN MoMoPay, to Absa Point of Sale (POS) machines/terminals. The service is open to all MTN Uganda mobile money account holders, who can now make payments at any Absa PoS, regardless of whether or not they hold an account with the bank. Absa managing director Mumba Kalifungwa said that the new functionality provides convenience for customers to pay for goods and services directly from their MTN mobile money account to the Absa device.
