Monday 26 November 2018 | 12:30 CET | News
South African operator MTN has withdrawn from the international public tender to award a unified telecom licence in Angola, claiming the process is "flawed", reports Expansao.co.ao. An Angolan company, Telstar Telecomunicacoes, formed in January with a share capital of AOA 200,000, is left as the only competitor for the fourth mobile operator licence. The shareholders of the company are Manuel Joao Carneiro (90%) and Antonio Cardoso Mateus (10%).
