MTS Armenia turns to net income in Q2

Mobile operator MTS Armenia saw its total revenues decrease by 1.3 percent year-on-year to AMD 19.2 billion in the second quarter. However, revenues climbed 8.4 percent on a quarterly basis from AMD 17.7 in March 2010. MTS Armenia registered a net income of AMD 3.6 billion in the second quarter, versus a net loss of AMD 2.8 billion in the year-earlier period. OIBDA fell 5.5 percent year-on-year but rose 18.7 percent sequentially to AMD 10.3 billion at 30 June.
