MTS deploys 5G area for cyber-sport at Startup Village 2018

Russian mobile operator MTS, in cooperation with Ericsson and Intel, has deployed a 5G area for cyber-sport at Startup Village 2018 conference, reports Tdaily.ru. Two play stations communicated over a base station from Ericsson and a terminal from Intel on the 28 GHz frequency band. The minimum response time was at least five times shorter compared with the LTE network.
