MTS expands 5G network in Moscow to 19 pilot areas

Russian operator MTS said that it has increased its number of 5G pilot areas in the capital city to nineteen. It launched fourteen 5G pilot areas in Moscow in March using the 4.9 GHz band. The operator has tripled its 5G network coverage. The expansion was carried out on the occasion of the City Day holiday.
