MTS expands LTE network in Kabarda-Balkaria

Russian mobile operator MTS has expanded the coverage of its LTE network in the Republic of Kabarda-Balkaria, reports Cnews.ru.  More than 100 LTE base stations have been launched in the region since the beginning of this year.

The network has been expanded in the city of Nalchik, as well as in other towns and villages. One base station operates at 3,888 metres above sea level near Mount Elbrus in the region.
