MTS introduces redirect on virus detection

Russian mobile operator MTS has launched a special platform informing customers of various threats to Android-powered smartphones. Customers with phones affected by viruses are re-addressed to a special website when they try to connect to the internet. The site contains information on eventual threats and proposes the customer download free antivirus software. Anti-virus software from Dr Web, Kaspersky Laboratory and Avast can be downloaded free.
