MTS offers new flagship smartphone with Yandex interface
Russian mobile operator MTS has introduced the Android 4.0 MTS 968 smartphone with the Yandex.Shell user interface. The interface allows multiple desktops and supports a variety of widgets, including Yandex services such as weather, news and maps. The device costs RUB 7,490 and comes with one month free internet and 2,500 bonus points in the operator's loyalty scheme. An upgrade on its previous white-label smartphone, the 968 comes with a 1GHz processor, 1500 mAh battery, 4-inch display with 800x480 resolution and 5 megapixel camera.
