MTS reaches 5.6 Gbps aggregate speed on Huawei 5G base station

Russian operator MTS announced that it reached an aggregate speed of 5.6 Gbps on aHuawei 5G base station connected to the MTS pilot 5G network in Moscow. This speed was achieved from the base station to several smartphones working in one single cell area, using Massive MIMO technology. Each of the eight Huawei smartphones used received a signal at around 700 Mbps from the Huawei 5G DBS5900 base station, reaching a total of 5.6 Gbps.
