MultiChoice BEE shareholders to receive ZAR 1.3 bln in dividends

MultiChoice announced that its shareholders in its Phuthuma Nathi broad-based black economic empowerment vehicle Phuthuma Nathi will receive ZAR 1.3 billion in ordinary dividends, reports Techcentral. The dividend payout was approved at the company's Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 30 August. Total dividends of ZAR 9.1 billion have been paid to Phuthuma Nathi since the scheme was launched in 2006, MultiChoice.
