Multichoice Botswana price hike sparks outrage

A move by Multichoice Botswana to increase its subscriptions has sparked outrage from customers, BOPA reported. General manager Billy Sekgororoane said operational costs force the company to hike subscriptions every year. Some customers felt it was unfair for the prices to rise when the rest of the economy had remained stable and fuel prices had gone down. With the new prices, the top bouquet with all channels will rise in price from BWP 550 per month to 610 while the lowest will go from BWP 90 to BWP 105.
