Multichoice loses appeal against Nigerian tax assessment

The Tax Appeal Tribunal in Nigeria has rejected Multichoice's appeal in a dispute over a USD 342 million tax claim from the Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS), CommunicationsWeek reported. The tribunal struck the appeal for want of diligent prosecution, and ordered it to pay the sum.
