Multichoice plans more local content production in 2020

African pay-TV operator Multichoice is planning to produce 52 local movies and 29 local dramas in 2020 in order to increase its overall local offering, reports Business Insider. It also plans to increase its percentage of total general entertainment spend on local content to 45 percent by 2020, up from 40 percent this year.
