MultiChoice's DStv to discontinue 3 A&E channels at end-October

MultiChoice's DStv will discontinue the History, Crime + Investigation, and Lifetime channels from its line-up at the end of October, reports MyBroadband. The contract term for the three channels, all produced by US broadcasting company A&E Television Networks, ends on 01 November. MultiChoice said the decision to drop them is part of its ongoing efforts to refresh its content.
