Munich court rules against Vodafone Germany for charging on SEPA transfers

Saturday 26 October 2019 | 10:51 CET | News
The ruling applies also to contracts that were signed before the entry into force of a new law in January 2018. The new rule  made clear that companies do not have to charge fees for payment with SEPA credit transfers, SEPA debit transfers, or through credit cards and giro cards. Before 2018, Vodafone required customers who signed a contract before 2018 to pay the additional fee of EUR 2.50.
