Musashi invests EUR 1.5 mln in parts plant

Musashi Hungary, the Hungarian unit of the Japanese car parts manufacturer, has completed a EUR 1.5 million investment in expanding capacity at its plant south of Budapest, reports newswire MTI-ECO. The plant needed the extra capacity to meet orders for camshafts for Fiat and GM, Musashi Hungary CEO Andras Nagy said. Output of the camshafts, used in Polish-assembled Multijet 1.3 litre diesel engines, will rise by twenty percent, he added. Musashi Hungary had an over EUR 26 milion revenue in 2004, more than twice as much as a year earlier. Musashi also invested EUR 4 million in launching ball
