MVNO Gorila Mobil plans to enter Czech market

New mobile virtual network operator Gorila Mobil plans to enter the Czech market, reports the website HN.cz. Jiri Simane, co-owner of Czech Airlines CSA and Unimex Group, is said to be behind the operator. Gorila Mobil will work on the O2 network. The new MVNO wants to differentiate itself from the established MVNO by focusing on young users and basing its tariffs on mobile internet. Existing MVNOs have so far focused on low-cost calls and SMS. Gorila Mobil will be more independent of its host operator Telefonica Czech Republic, supported by the fact that Unimex is conducting large-scale
