Mweb launches Wi-Fi along Florida Road in Durban

South African ISP MWeb has rolled out Wi-Fi in Florida Road in Durban, providing users with internet connectivity throughout the length of the street. Mweb Wi-Fi GM Nathier Kasu said Wi-Fi has had a resurgence as private companies and even some local governments have broadened access. The City of Tshwane has a stated goal of blanketing the city with Wi-Fi coverage and Cape Town and Johannesburg have limited hotspot projects in various stages of development.
