N4L still working on UFB contracts

New Zealand schools are asked to wait a few more weeks to see whether government-owned company N4L can deliver on its promise to provide a better deal on ultrafast broadband (UFB). N4L is responsible for the government's Network for Learning and was to put in place centrally negotiated contracts with one or more ISPs for UFB services to schools by April. The associate Education Minister Nikki Kaye said further announcements would be made by 23 June. N4L chief executive John Hanna said the company was still in a vendor selection process, which has left many schools without a UFB subscription,
