Namibia to spend NAD 5 mln on international ICT conference

Namibia has budgeted NAD 5 million to host the eighth International Conference on ICT for Development, Education and Training, which will take place in Windhoek from 29-31 May. The eighth e-learning Africa conference is expected to receive between 1,500 and 2,000 delegates, including 300 speakers and chairpeople from over 50 countries. The conference's overall theme is 'tradition, change and innovation' and it will examine experiences, projects, policies, partnerships and research that are shaping the continent's e-learning landscape.
