NBCUniversal to pay viewers to watch new streaming service

US broadcaster NBCUniversal is preparing to launch a new streaming video service that rewards viewers for watching with loyalty points that can be redeemed for offers at retail outlets, The Information reported. The service, tentatively called 'Watch Back' would offer episodes from TV shows on the group's channels NBC, USA and Bravo, as well as videos from other websites. No launch date has been set yet.
