NBN launches in Riverstone, expands in Blacktown

Friday 26 July 2013 | 04:45 CET | News
Australia's National Broadband Network (NBN) has been switched on in Riverstone, a suburb of Sydney. Around 700 premises are able to connect, with a further 3,400 premises expected to be able to activate in the coming months. In addition, NBN Co has also passed a further 4,000 premises in the suburb of Blacktown, bringing the total to around 5,300 premises. That figure is expected to hit over 9,000 in the coming months.

This is rubbish, 23+ months to partially activate one of the first announced suburbs in NSW. Less than half of the FSAM is activate with no news if the rest will be activated by the RFS date of the 30th of July. NBN Co and local MP Michelle Rowland have been ignoring this matter and simply dancing around the issue at hand which is constant miss-communication.
