NCC expedites implementation of 112 emergency number to tackle Covid-19

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) said the 112 national emergency number is providing support during the the Covid-19 pandemic. The NCC said it fast-tracked the execution of the 112 project, whose implementation had hitherto been dragging. It said Nigerians are able to call emergency response agencies for any issue they may want to report concerning coronavirus or other health matters.
