NCC licenses seven new ISPs

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has licensed seven new companies to provide internet services, reports CommunicationsWeek. The seven companies licensed between January and March are Bava Network and Technologies, Netzplan Resources, Sentient Networks, Standard Communications, Service Aggregation and Distribution, Passage Telecommunications Nig, and IP Express. These bring the number of ISPs in the country to 99.
