NCC provides NGN 20 mln each to two universities for ICT research

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) is partnering with academia to foster the potential for ICT to address societal and developmental challenges. NCC CEO Umar  Danbatta has endowed professorial chairs at Bayero University and the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) for the 2019-2020 academic year, providing each with NGN 20 million to encourage research and innovation.
