NCC says 31 mln Nigerians lack access to telecom services

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) says about 31 million people living in rural areas struggle to use telecommunication services for lack of access and infrastructure, the NationOnline reported. Executive vice chairman Umar Garba Danbatta said that efforts were being made to bridge the gap with standards set by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU).
