NCC says telecoms sector needs USD 136 bln investment to expand

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) says USD 136 billion in fresh investment is needed to expand the telecommunications sector. NCC CEO Umar Dambatta said over 40 million people remain disenfranchised across the country in terms of access, and some areas are yet to enjoy the full benefits of telecoms.
