Monday 19 June 2017 | 12:08 CET | News

Nepalese operator Ncell has launched the ‘Yonder Karaoke Contest’. The platform allows music fans to win a Samsung J7 Prime device per week for up to four weeks. All Ncell customers using the Yonder Music app can participate in this weekly contest, starting 19 June.

Ncell launched its music streaming app on May 26, offering customers free access to millions of songs to download, play, sing and share. The app also offers to the customers an interactive feature dubbed ‘Snap Karaoke’, designed to enable users to sing and record their own versions of their favorite songs in a video karaoke style and share up to 29 seconds of their karaoke performance with other Yonder users and on social networks.

Ncell customers can record their songs through Snap Karaoke and share them in Facebook and Instagram using #MysnapkaraokeWeek1 tag. Each week, a total of top 10 performers will be selected based on the highest number of shares and likes. A panel of Yonder spoke-artists will select one winner per week for four weeks from the top 10 performers.
