Ncell ready to launch 4G service, mulls 4G licence

Nepalese mobile operator Ncell has announced it plans to rollout 4G services in one month after receiving its 4G licence. Ncell submitted its 4G rollout plan to telecoms regulator Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) on 4 November, in which it says it is ready to launch 4G services on the local market, The Himalayan Times reports. Under its 4G rollout plan, Ncell plans to start providing the 4G services to customers simultaneously from Kathmandu, Pokhara and Damauli in the first phase, after receiving the licence from NTA.
