Nearly 6,000 Catalan students begin mobile apps course

This month, 5,965 students from 196 Catalan secondary schools (20 percent of the region's total) will begin the practical stage of the 'Let's Mobilize Computer Technology,' course, focusing on the design and creation of applications for mobile devices. The course is part of the mSchools programme, a pioneering initiative supported by Mobile World Capital Barcelona in cooperation with the regional government of Catalonia, the city of Barcelona and the GSMA. The 15-16 year-old pupils, who have already studied theoretical aspects of app creation, will now begin working with 98 industry
