Nearly 88% of UK premises in NGA network areas - study

Some 87.9 percent of UK premises were in areas listed as offering services via a next generation access (NGA) network at the end of June, according to Point Topic's latest report, writes ISPreview, given a "sneak preview" of the research. Point Topic also found that around 251,500 premises were potentially within reach of an FttP network and 100 Mbps+ internet access, 35 percent more than the 186,500 premises tallied a year ago.
