Nearly 9 in 10 Portuguese access internet via mobile phone

A survey by Netsonda and Produto do Ano has revealed that 86 percent of Portuguese access the internet through mobile phones, 71 percent on laptops, 42 percent from fixed computers and 37 percent on tablets, reports Economia Online. The most popular social networks are Facebook and WhatsApp (86%), followed by Messenger (75%), Instagram (70%), Twitter (28%), Pinterest (14%), Snapchat (12%) and LinkedIn (10%).
