Nearly half of Danes had 50 Mbps fixed downloads in H2

Nearly half (48%) of Danish fixed broadband subscribers were in receipt of a service at a minimum download speed of 50 Mbps in the second half of 2016, according to the Danish Energy Authority. Its report 'Telestatistics – second half-year 2016' said there was a 34 percent increase in subscribers with an upload speed of at least 50 Mbps from slightly over 36 percent of all fixed broadband subscribers, to 48 percent, or 1.2 million people.
