Nearly half of Kenyans use social networks

Almost half of Kenyans, 45 percent, visit online social media platforms every day, according to the Google Consumer Barometer. It found that 89 percent of people Kenya go online to visit networks like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, among others. It said 81 percent use the internet to check e-mail, and to use charts and instant messaging.
