Nearly half of Luxembourg's fixed broadband lines deliver 100 Mbps+ speed

Friday 15 November 2019 | 12:32 CET | News
Luxembourg continued to experience a steady migration towards faster fixed broadband speeds in the six months to June, according to the latest market report from regulator ILR. Connections delivering at least 100 Mbps increased to account for 49.4 percent of the market, up by over 6 percentage points since December. This gain was mainly at the expense of both the 30-99 Mbps market segment, down by nearly 3 points to 16.5 percent, and low-speed DSL lines below 10 Mbps, which contracted to 13.5 percent of the total.
