Nearly half of online Spaniards bought goods online in H1

The proportion of Spanish internet users who acquired goods online soared to 44.5 percent in the first 6 months of 2018, some 20 percent higher than in the equivalent period of 2015, according to a report on postal services from Spain's communications regulator CNMC. Nearly 9 out of 10 online shoppers (88%) received a package associated with their purchase at home and nearly half were delivered by the Spanish state postal service (Correos). The report added that 46 percent of buyers were given the option of deciding between different delivery times and almost 40 percent were offered a variety
