Nearly half of Spanish households have mobile broadband

Mobile broadband technology is becoming every more pervasive in Spanish households and businesses according to a report published by Spain's industry ministry and Vodafone Spain Foundation. The report entitled "Mobility-oriented technologies" found that some 47.2 percent of Spanish households now have access to mobile broadband, compared to 69.8 percent with an internet connection. Monthly income clearly plays an important part in the adoption of mobile ICT devices, with 44 percent of Spanish households with a monthly income of more than EUR 3,000 having a tablet, compared to just 10.6
