Nearly quarter of Germans plan to buy smartphone in 2019

Almost one in four Germans (24%) plans to buy a smartphone in 2019, a four percent increase from 20 percent in 2018, according to a survey of German digital association Bitkom. Tablets are on top of the shopping list for 21 percent of Germans, again a four-point increase from 17 percent in 2018.
