NEC Laboratories Europe to head EU cybersecurity demos

NEC Laboratories Europe announced that it's been selected to lead demonstration cases of the CyberSec4Europe initiative, an EU pilot for a pan-European cybersecurity competence network that will test potential secure governance structures. CyberSec4Europe is designed to address key EU directives and regulations, such as the GDPR, PSD2, eIDAS and ePrivacy, as well as helping to implement the EU Cybersecurity Act, among other aims. Total funding by the European Union amounts to around EUR 16 million over 3.5 years, said NEC.
