NENT obtains exclusive Nordic media rights to IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship from 2024-28

Nordic Entertainment (NENT) said it has acquired the exclusive Nordic media rights to the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship from 2024 to 2028. NENT will show the tournament in Sweden alone until 2023 and will then expand its throughout the Nordic region. Every game will be shown live on NENT's Viaplay streaming service and Viasat pay-TV channels, with some matches broadcast on NENT's free-to-air television channels, too.
