Nepal's private operators cannot offer emergency numbers

Nepal's private mobile operators have trouble offering calls to the country's emergency numbers. State-owned operator Nepal Telecom (NT) offers free access to emergency services such as police (100), fire brigade (101), ambulance (102), traffic police (103), Children Search Coordination Centre (104), Nepali Army-Kathmandu (105), and military police (106). However, mobile operator Ncell only offers access to two emergency numbers, namely 100 and 102, and smaller operators such as UTL, Smart Telecom, Nepal Satellite Telecom and STM Telecom Sanchar are not able to offer access to any of the
